WISE & Healthy Aging is a multi-service, non-profit organization serving older adults and their families and caregivers throughout Los Angeles County. Headquartered in Santa Monica, the team at WISE & Healthy Aging works to promote and improve the well-being, independence and self-esteem of seniors, and to prevent premature institutionalization whenever possible.
They offer programs/services such as care management, elder abuse prevention services, a transportation and mobility program, and Medicare insurance counseling.

A weekly ongoing support group at the Shiley-Marcos ADRC for people with early-stage Alzheimer’s or a related disorder. Caregivers of those enrolled in this group can participate in a concurrent caregiver support group. This support group is free of charge. Pre-registration is required.

As part of the National Family Caregiver Support Program, under the Older American’s Act, the Office on Aging provides support to caregivers who are caring for grandchildren and/ or older adults, and coordinates services to develop a system that is comprehensive and useful.
Services provided include advocacy, care management, caregiver education, counseling, child care assistance, respite, and in home assistance and supplemental services.
