The Emergency and Evacuation Assistance Program (EEAP) is for eligible individuals in Miami-Dade County who need evacuation assistance and/or sheltering or who would like to receive a wellness call after a disaster. Please register by calling the above number or by downloading this application: http://www.northmiamifl.gov/docs/EEAP_application_english.pdf . The program offers:

specialized transportation
safe shelter
medical monitoring
wellness checks

Alzheimer’s Community Care

ACC has a 24-hour Alzheimer’s crisis line at 800-394-1771, which puts caregivers in touch with professionals who can help defuse emergency situations. This also includes the Lost on Foot Silver Alert Program. “The Lost on Foot program is so important to help caregivers understand the risk of their loved one with Alzheimer’s disease wandering away from home.”

It also provides training to staff who work in specialized adult day centers and training to law enforcement personnel and the community at-large.

The Palm Beach Fire Rescue Department provides Emergency Medical Services to the residents and visitors within the Town of Palm Beach as well as mutual aid response to the surrounding municipalities.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) means to provide out-of-hospital acute medical care and/or transport to definitive care for those who are ill or injured. Their mission is to provide the highest level of pre-hospital care allowed with rapid assessment, stabilization and transportation to the appropriate care facility as expeditiously as possible.

DNR(심폐소생술 거부) – “심폐소생술 거부” 명령
